Plastic Surgeon San Antonio

Dr. Ayala is a Native Texan. He received his Bachelor of Art degree from the University of Texas in Austin. He later attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas where he received his medical degree.

Dr. Ayala completed a five-year residency in general surgery at Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas before beginning his plastic surgery training. He completed his training in plastic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ayala returned to San Antonio, Texas and in 1999 began his private practice, which is limited to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Ayala is a member of many prestigious professional societies at the local, state and national levels. He maintains staff privileges at many of the area’s local hospitals.
